Music Alumni Reception
Friday, January 16

Fifty music faculty and alumni gathered for a special UIndy reception as they attended the Indiana Music Education Association conference.  The reception was held at the Grand Wayne Convention Center in Ft. Wayne, Ind.

Friday, February 5

KSPT_Alumni_JWMarriott-1663More than 500 UIndy faculty and alumni enjoyed a special KSPT reception held during the Combined Meeting of the American Physical Therapy Association in Indianapolis. During the reception, longtime faculty member Dr. Sam Kegerreis was honored for his commitment to patient-centered clinical practice. In honor of his upcoming retirement, the Sam K Fund has been created to to carry on his legacy in the classroom and the clinic. To date, more than $31,000 has been raised for the fund.

Alumni Dinner Theatre
Saturday, February 21

The Department of Theatre featured Neil Simon’s twist on his classic stage comedy with The Odd Couple (Female Version) for the annual dinner production in the Schwitzer Student Center. More than 100 alumni attended the sold-out show and enjoyed a meal with fellow Greyhounds.

Thursday, February 26

More than 3,200 alumni, friends, faculty, staff, and students made this year’s Pack-the-House Night a success. The evening included the dinner hosted by the Office of Alumni Relations and  entertainment from the Indiana Pacers’ High-Octane Drumline. To top it all off, the women’s basketball team won in triple-overtime, and the men’s team remained undefeated at home.

Donor-Scholar Luncheon

Scholars_Donor_Luncheon-4114UIndy scholarship donors, recipients, and families enjoyed getting to know each other during the 11th annual Donor-Scholar Luncheon, which saw its largest attendance ever. For donors, this was an opportunity to see the difference their contributions are making. For students, it was a chance to learn how others are supporting their UIndy journey. The event featured speakers Steve Fry ’87 and Mike Watkins ’68 (trustees), junior Steven Freck, and President Rob Manuel.
