Rob Handley ’90 is assistant principal and will assume the position of principal at Rushville Consolidated Schools effective July 1. He lives in Rushville, Ind.

Kimberli Davies Palmer ’91 is director of academic success and retention at Indiana Wesleyan University. She earned her master’s degree in higher education leadership and student success from Walden University. She lives in Fishers, Ind.

Kathleen Tabert Hargest ’92 passed away September 16, 2012. She is survived by father, Harold; mother, Sandy; husband, Brian; sister, Jeanette Tabert Gillock ’93; and brother-in-law, Michael Gillock ’94. She is also survived by her children; Madison, McKenzie, and Aiden. She lived in Frederick, Md.

Liam David was born to David and Lisa Lahey ’96 on December 18, 2012. He joins siblings Lauren, Landon, Logan, and Lucas at the family’s home in Indianapolis.

David Hampton ’94 is the senior pastor at Light of the World Christian Church in Indianapolis. He lives in Fishers, Ind.

Rick L. Moore ’95 is an information technology compliance manager at American Security Indiana. He lives in Noblesville, Ind.

Lucita Exom-Pope ’95 is an investigator with the social services department through the Department of Child Services. She lives in Indianapolis.

Shelley Lynn Coats ’96 is a human resource consultant for Parkson Corporation. She lives in Zionsville, Ind.

Greyson Michael was born to Coleen ’96 and Rob Schrepfer ’96 on October 18, 2012. Greyson joins his sister, Lauren, and brother, Brody, at the family’s home in North Brunswick, N.J.

Jeffrey Stein ’96 is a sales manager for He lives in Morton Grove, Ill.

Brian J. Evans ’97 passed away on January 22. He won a national championship in track and field in 1995, and was a seven time All-American. He was invited to the United States Olympic team and named to the UIndy Hall of Fame. He is survived by wife, Diana; daughters, Claire and Emily; parents, Edgar and Jacqueline; and brother, Edgar. He lived in Three Rivers, Mich.

Harper Leigh was born to Paul and Sarah Baker ’98 on May 21, 2012. Sarah gave birth to her daughter after having had a pancreatic transplant. Sarah is only the third person in the United States to conceive a child after a pancreatic transplant. The family is doing well and resides in Fishers, Ind.

Anita Kolkmeier Samuel ’98 is director of state personnel for Governor Mike Pence. She serves on the UIndy alumni board of directors. She lives in Indianapolis.


Greyson Wayne was born to Brad and Laura Rogers-Anslinger ’01 on April 14, 2012. The family lives in Richmond, Ind.

Emily Murray Arent ’03 is the director of way2go transportation at CICOA Aging & In-Home Solutions. She lives in Indianapolis.

Scott Caldwell ’03 died on October 29, 2012. He was a corporate accountant with Cross-point Solutions of Indianapolis. He is survived by his son, Cory; fiancée, Susan; her children, Justin and Bayleigh; his sister, Karen; brother, Jeff; and father, Harold. He was preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn, and his grandparents. He lived in Fishers, Ind.

Owen Scott was born to Jason and Lindsay Kusy ’03 on July 1, 2012. Owen joined big brother Jack at the family’s home in Indianapolis.

Kinsey Amanya was born to Karl and Katherine Smith ’03 on August 18, 2012. Katherine received her master’s in business administration from Anderson University and is a senior finance specialist tech at Sallie Mae. The family lives in Noblesville, Ind.

Caleb Isaac was born to Justin and Susan Dougherty ’04 on September 21, 2012. He joins brother, Noah,at the family’s home in Lafayette, Ind.

John Kallis was born to Marianna ’04 and Kevin Foulkrod ’00. John joins his older sister, Melanie, at the family’s home in Indianapolis.

Jason Douglas Nave ’04 and Anneke Warren ’04 were married on August 11, 2012. Jason is a department manager at Lowe’s Companies, Inc.  The couple lives in Charlotte, N.C.

Lucy was born to Nelson and Rachel Marcelene Nguyen ’04 on October 28, 2012. The family lives in Whitestown, Ind.

Cleve Johnson ’06 is an instructor at Harrison College. He lives in Greenfield, Ind.

Katie Langenderfer ’06 is a school occupational therapist for the Montgomery County ESC, Miami Valley Regional Center in Dayton, Ohio. She lives in Beavercreek.

Jocelyn Forehand ’07 is the chief executive officer of Southside OB-GYN. She lives in Indianapolis.

Terri Hohlt ’07 is the program director at Franciscan St. Francis Weight Loss Center in Indianapolis. She lives in Indianapolis.

Peter Szostak ’07 ’08 is on the board of directors at Heritage Place of Indianapolis. He lives in Indianapolis.

Fengyi Kuo ’08 is on the board of directors at Heritage Place of Indianapolis. She lives in Carmel, Ind.

Bryan Brackemyre ’09 is interim executive director of Boone County Economic Development Corp. He lives in Indianapolis.


Sara Franks Spahr ’10 is assistant director of nursing for Magnolia Health Systems. She lives in Portland, Ind.

Alan Seville ’12 died January 23. He served in the U.S. Air Force. Survivors include his wife, Leslie; mother, Genevieve; brother, Kevin; and many nieces and nephews. He lived
in Indianapolis.
