Reconstruction of Hanna Avenue is complete at last. If you’ve visited campus over the past two years, you know the street’s been festooned with orange barrels and heavy equipment for what seems like an eternity to the campus community. Once the work was largely finished, workers took on the specially designed median, which features landscaping, large planters, and clearly delineated crosswalks that match the look of the outer sidewalks, where antique-style lampposts have replaced unsightly utility poles. A ribbon-cutting December 1 celebrated the occasion. The result is probably most rewarding for those who travel Hanna every day, but you’ll be impressed, too, whether you’ve been gone a day or a decade. Or several. Come see for yourself!
