Women’s swimming boasts sport’s best Division II grade point average

The College Swimming Coaches Association of America announced that the UIndy women’s swimming and diving team’s spring semester grade point average of 3.74 was the highest of any Division II team in the sport.

The squad garnered Team Scholar All-America accolades from CSCAA for their efforts, with four team members, as well as two from the men’s team, garnering individual academic honors. The women’s team’s GPA was a full .16 points higher than second-place C.W. Post. The squad’s average was bolstered by CSCAA Scholar All-Americans Maura Donahue, Meghan Donahue, Jaclyn Luscomb, and Erica Smith. Austin Biefnes and Guy Kogel represented the UIndy men’s team on the list of male recipients.
